My ramblings about knitting, raising kids and teaching.
I am SO tempted to join the KAL. I've never knit a sweater and it seems like it would take forever, but it sounds fun. Also, I'm not teeny tiny like Cass, so mine would take a lot more stitches!!!Needle felting: After my bag was felted, I laid wool yarn over the top and repeatedly "stabbed" it with a series of 3 sizes of special needles. They cause the fibers to meld together somehow, and the results are great. The yarn flattens out and becomes a part of the felted base. The dishcloth pattern came from the Dishcloth Botique. (I think that's what it's called.) Anyway, you can get to it from the Dishcloth exchange blog. They have lots of cute patterns on that site, and they're all free.
